Well, I am glad that I chose a foal halter! I am the proud new owner of a lovely leather foal halter with brass fittings. It is a bit big for our Queenie but I will have her wear it just as soon as she grows into it. Thanks all for entertaining me...

Hello to All,

To get things going on the site I was thinking we need a right old-fashioned photo contest! So, with no further adieu I formally anounce the 2009 "Cutest Connemara Foal Photo Contest". A Year for Colts

Well, here we go--it is almost May and we've had two successful births here at the farm. Our first foal of the season, Killydeere was born on the 4th of April and now, just this week our second foal (also a colt :-) was born. "Numero dos" as we're calling him for fun is also a bay just like numero uno! Who would have guessed TWO colts and TWO bays!! lol! I thought my farm was a designated "grey only" parking spot!!
